Sri Lanka beat Pakistan in a thrilling contest of the Asia Cup at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on September 14. Dasun Shanaka’s side will face India in the final of the event on September 17.

Pakistan’s bowling coach Morne Morkel and batting coach Andrew Puttick will return to their countries.

Skipper Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Muhammad Rizwan, Iftikhar Ahmed, Saud Shakil, and others will return to their homes by taking the route of Dubai.

The final match of the tournament will be played in Sri Lanka, which is co-hosting the continental tournament. The team will face India for the title of the Asia Cup 2023.
