“The said notification is fake,” the KP IGP public relations officer told Aaj News on Monday.

The Establishment Division has taken notice of it and has asked the Federal Investigation Agency to conduct an investigation.

Earlier in the day, a notification purportedly from the Establishment Division surfaced on social media which claimed that a Grade 21 officer Bilal Siddique Kamyana had been posted as the new KP IGP in place of Akhtar Hayat Gandapur.

As per reports, the Lahore police have also taken notice of the fake notification.
