The incident came to light when Hareem Shah claimed that her husband had been abducted from Karachi and that despite all legal processes his family was unable to reach him.

Posting a video message to X, formally known as Twitter, Hareem said the family had already registered a complaint about him going missing.

She said that the incident happened seven days ago when Bilal Hussain Shah arrived in Pakistan from London and went outside his home in Karachi in the evening.

“Unknown people in plainclothes came in three or four vehicles and abducted him. The individuals also took his car along,” said the TikTok star.

“We were contacting various authorities, but they did not have any information about his abduction. We also filed a petition in the court.”

She requested law enforcement agencies to find Bilal saying he was not involved in any criminal activity.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) South Shiraz Nazir said that an FIR has been registered on the complaint of Bilal Shah’s mother.

The mother stated that her son had been abducted on August 27 from street number six of Qayyumabad, Karachi, when he reached the main road.

The Police said that they had initiated a probe into the incident and we’re searching for Bilal.
