Kabli Pulao is based on the story of an older Lahori man Haji Mushtaq who marries a young Afghani widow Barbeena in order to help her but a host of problems besiege him when her childhood friend Shamim, who likes him discloses her hidden marriage.

Now after episode seven, the drama entered into a thrilling phase, and Indian fans waited for a week to watch episode 8, but they were upset when the episode did not become available on YouTube in India.

A fan posted on Instagram: “Indian fans can’t wait to watch it.

Another urged Green Entrainment to upload a fresh episode to their YouTube channel.

Did India block Kabli Pulao on YouTube?

So, why was the show unavailable on YouTube in the country? Politics, you might think, but no it was money.

Nadia Afgan, who plays Shamim’s character in the show, shared the real reason behind the development.

She told Indian fans that they can watch their favourite drama on Zee5, which has recently bought broadcast rights for ‘Kabli Pulao’ in India.

So, the show is no longer available on the Indian edition of YouTube.

The eighth episode of the show is said to be more captivating than the previous episode.

Haji Mushtaq (Ehteshamuddin) leaves his family with Barbeena (Sabeena Faruq) and enters a new phase of life.

Sabeena Faruq and Muhammad Ehteshamuddin have played the lead roles in Kabli Pulao. Nadia Afghan and Abdullah Farhatullah have also left a mark with their performance.

Zafar Mairaj penned down the script of the drama and Kashif Nisar directed it.

The main attraction has been Rahat Fatah Ali Khan’s enthralling performance of the title song, which has garnered 100 million views.
