The lion attacked a man as well who fortunately remained safe. Caretaker Chief Minister Maqbool Baqar also took notice of the incident.

Police arrived on the scene as the lion entered a building’s parking lot. A large queue of cars lined up near Ayesha Bhawani college.

An initial statement from the police said that the lion was being moved in a vehicle, but it escaped through the window. The driver of the vehicle has been arrested.

The lion was eventually caught after it roamed around the Shahrah-e-Faisal for a small time. It was then shifted to the wildlife office in a cage.

Baqar took notice of the incident and asked for report to be submitted. He also questioned who had granted permission to keep such an animal in a residential area of the city.
