How FIA can use its name for a private business.</strong></p> <p>A three-member bench led by CJP Bandial heard the petition pertaining to the forensic audit of housing societies.</p> <p>CJP said in his remarked that FIA reviewed the report which depicts the estimated loss of Rs175 billion, but explanation has not been taken from the societies.</p> <p>Justice Athar Minullah asked that how FIA can do private business, wasn’t a collapse of interests? FIA were facing charges of land grapping and IB apparently involved in confiscating lands as well.</p> <p>He added that such institutes have responsibility to serve for the public instead for running housing societies.</p> <p>CJP asked that who would be competitor, if IB will have housing society? We were not hearing the matter regarding housing societies of government entities but Suo-moto can be taken.</p> <p>He added that it would have to be seen whether suo-motu should be taken or not.
