      <title>PTI chief Imran Khan’s bail plea rejected in three cases</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;An anti-terrorism court in Islamabad rejected on Tuesday bail petitions of PTI chief Imran Khan, who is &lt;a href="https://www.aajenglish.tv/news/30330389/pti-chief-khan-to-spend-more-days-in-attock-jail"&gt;incarcerated for offences related to selling state gifts&lt;/a&gt;, in three cases after he could not appear in court.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Anti-Terrorism Court in Islamabad Judge Abul Hassan announced the reserved decision in three cases and rejected his bail petitions after Khan failed to show up before the court.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Earlier, an ATC in Lahore rejected the PTI chief’s bail applications in seven cases pertaining to the events of May events citing the above-mentioned reason.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Violent protests erupted after Khan was &lt;a href="https://www.aajenglish.tv/news/30320469"&gt;arrested on May 9&lt;/a&gt; in a graft case. State buildings and military installations were attacked in the country. The government has blamed the PTI chief for such attacks.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;PTI Chairman Khan was &lt;a href="https://www.aajenglish.tv/news/30329603/pti-chairman-imran-khan-arrested-after-being-slapped-with-jail-term-disqualification"&gt;arrested from his Lahore residence on August 5&lt;/a&gt; after he was slapped with a five-year disqualification and a three-year prison term in the Toshakhana criminal case.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A district and sessions court in Islamabad sessions court handed down the jail sentence after finding Khan guilty of ‘corrupt practices.’&lt;/p&gt;
