“The Government of Sindh is pleased to grant special remission to the extent of One Hundred Twenty (120 Days) to the convicted prisoners confined in the various prisons and CF of Sindh Province,” the notification stated.

However, the special relief is only for the convicted prisoners except for the condemned prisoners and those convicted of murder, espionage, subversion, anti-state activities, terrorist activities, rape, kidnapping and robbery.

Similarly, the prisoners who were given relief on the occasion of Eidul Fitr and Eidul Azha are also not entitled to this remission, the notification added.
