Anirudh has directed the music for the movie which is directed by Atlee.

Shah Rukh Khan would be playing a dual role in the movie. It would probably be his second movie with a double role. His last project like this was the 1998 movie Duplicate directed by Mahesh Bhatt.

Zinda Banda was the first song of Jawan. It was released on July 31 and the song has so far got more than 55 million views on YouTube. Khan is seen dancing with hundreds of dancers in the background.

The film, which is also one of the most anticipated movies of 2023, is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.

The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Deepika Padukone (in a special appearance). The movie is set to release in cinemas on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
