Azam Khan records his statement against Imran Khan in £190m case

Azam Khan, former principal secretary to Imran Khan, recorded his statement on Friday in the £190 million case, involving serious allegations against a leading property tycoon and the PTI chief.

Khan appeared in National Accountability Ordinance’s Rawalpindi office in person to record his statement.

Sources said Azam Khan was questioned by NAB officials for several hours. The duration of questioning was reported at between two and a half hours and three hours.

He was also given a written questionnaire.

The former top bureaucrat had been summoned by NAB before but had failed to appear.

One of the questions posed to Azam Khan was about the settlement letter from the UK’s National Crimes Agency.

Azam Khan was asked about who had seen the letter and what Imran Khan had said about it.

    <iframe
        class="nk-iframe" onload="setInterval(()=>{try{this.style.height=this.contentWindow.document.body.scrollHeight+'px';}catch{}}, 100)"
        width="100%" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" style="height:400px;position:relative"
        src="https://www.aajenglish.tv/news/card/30327859"
        sandbox="allow-same-origin allow-scripts allow-popups allow-modals allow-forms">

Azam Khan had been ‘missing’ for weeks until he suddenly submitted a confessional statement against Imran Khan on the cipher conspiracy to a magistrate in Islamabad.
