      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Climate Minister Sherry Rehman announced that severe rain impacts including medium floods in rivers and urban flooding in municipal areas could be expected over the next 24-48 hours.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In a tweet posted on Sunday, Sherry Rehman said that Punjab’s cities including Lahore, Narowal and Sialkot were likely to get the highest amount of rain.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It also added that rivers Chenab, Ravi, Sutlej and associated nullahs could get medium-high levels of flooding.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Meanwhile, Karachi, Tharparker, Sukkur, Larkana, Hyderabad, Badin and Shaheed Benazirabad in Sindh could get thunderstorms and moderate-heavy rainfall.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Bannu, DI Khan, Swat and Balakot in KP are also expected to get thunderstorms and moderate-heavy rain. Rains are also expected to lash Sibbi, Zhob, Kohlu, Qila Saifullah, Khuzdar, Barkhan, Loralai, Kalat, Naseerabad, Dera Bugti and Lasbela in Balochistan.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;“Coordinated preparedness and proactive responses saves lives, so all response teams, both public and NGOs in the affected areas need to stay vigilant, ready,” the minister added.&lt;/p&gt;
