A video of the robbers from Jagirani and Sabzoi gang has gone viral on Saturday, in which they filmed themselves freely roaming in a car throughout Kandhkot city while brandishing weapons.

The release of the video coincided with the visit of SindhInspector General of Police Ghulam Nabi Memon to Kandhkot, where he presided over a meeting to discuss the law-and-order situation in the city.

People living and traveling through the riverine area in KandhKot are at the mercy of the robbers as kidnappings and robberies are rampant in the area. A total of 42 kidnappings were carried out by the robbers in the riverine area.

The policemen are also an easy target for robbers. On a number of instances in the past, they took police personnel as hostages and successfully exchanged them with fellow robbers being held in custody.

Sindh police on June 21 released the Khadim Bheo gang’s members in exchange for three police of its men release.

The dacoits had made a video clip of the kidnapped policemen and made it viral on social media.

The gang demanded the release of their gang members. They had threatened to kill the policemen if the police officials did not release their gang members.
