‘Ideal’ working relationship with Tareen, says Tarar

Special Assistant to Prime Minsiter on Legal Affairs Atta Tarar said that his party had an ‘ideal’ working relationship with Jahangir Tareen but there was no room for new people in the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz.

“We have candidates in every national and provincial constituency,” Tarar told the media outside the Islamabad High Court.

He said that there was no room in the party to accept new people, but added that the relationship with Jahangir Tareen, who launched a new party on Wednesday, was ‘ideal’.

Tara also said that when the PMLN had been pressurised, only five members of the Punjab Assembly had parted ways with the party. Still, Tarar said, no one had been labelled a ‘traitor’ and the people had been accepted back into the party later on.

He also said he had had serious disagreements with Fawad Chaudhry and Ali Zaidi, but he saluted the people who were quitting the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf after the events of May 9.

    <iframe
        class="nk-iframe" onload="setInterval(()=>{try{this.style.height=this.contentWindow.document.body.scrollHeight+'px';}catch{}}, 100)"
        width="100%" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" style="height:400px;position:relative"
        src="https://www.aajenglish.tv/news/card/30323831"
        sandbox="allow-same-origin allow-scripts allow-popups allow-modals allow-forms">

Tarar said that some judges had given undue relief to Imran Khan and said ‘good to see you’ to the PTI chairman. He repeated the allegation that the PTI chairman was behind the killing of Supreme Court lawyer Abdul Razaq Shar in Quetta on Tuesday and said it was the result of extraordinary relief by the court.

He said that an FIR filed by the son of the slain lawyer had nominated Imran Khan as the main suspect. He added that Imran Khan was ‘criminal minded’ and corruption had now led to murder.
