The lion emerged from the forest near the Thado Dam near Gadap but did not approach or attack any people.

Videos on social media showed the lion slowly prowling as people tried to shout it away. The animal also semed to be shying away from lights being shone by the residents of the area.

Residents said that there was general sense of fear in the area and the police had been informed. However, they tried to make their own safety arrangements
