NAB’s strange move: Could Bushra Bibi turns approver against Imran Khan?

The National Crime Agency has decided to make Bushra Bibi, the wife of Imran Khan, a witness in the Al-Qadir Trust. It is also known as the 190 million pounds scandal case.

In this regard, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) summoned PTI chief Imran Khan’s wife for investigation, not as an accused but as a witness on June 07.

The bureau said that they are bound to include a reason in the summon notice under the NAB Amendment Act.

Moreover, they have told the court that they have no intention to arrest Bushra Bibi.

Nab has also asked Bushra Bibi for documents of the Al-Qadir Trust and records of registration of the trust and details of donations received to the Trust.

The Al-Qadir Trust case alleges that the PTI chief and his wife obtained billions of rupees and land worth hundreds of kanals from a real estate firm for legalising Rs50 billion that was identified and returned to the country by the UK during the previous PTI government.
