      <title>Tremors felt in areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Tremors were felt in areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit Baltistan when a 6.0 magnitude earthquake jolted parts of the country on Sunday morning.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The epicentre of the earthquake was at the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region, &lt;a rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" class="link--external" href="https://seismic.pmd.gov.pk/events.php"&gt;according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD)&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In a statement, the department said that the earthquake occurred at 10:50am and struck at a depth of 223km.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s PDMA also reported that earthquake tremors were felt in various districts of the province, however, their control room did not receive any reports of casualties so far.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;“The public should report the untoward incident to PDMA’s control room at 1700,” said PDMA DG Jannat Gul Afridi.&lt;/p&gt;
