&lt;p&gt;Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had claimed that there has been Rs 20 billion embezzlement in the PTI government’s free flour distribution scheme.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The preliminary progress in the investigation found that 1.8 million bags of flour went missing across Punjab, including Lahore, sources told Aaj News.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The food department has sought out reports from nine Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Moreover, Commissioner Lahore has directed all four DCs to form an inquiry committee over the matter.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;More than 200,000 bags went missing in Kasur, 150,000 bags went missing in Sheikhupura and 50,000 bags in Nankana.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Millions of rupees worth of flour went missing in the Lahore division, sources said. The price of the missing flour in Lahore is said to be worth Rs130 million.&lt;/p&gt;
