“Unidentified men attacked when dangerous terrorists were being transferred from Miranshah to Bannu,” the Counter Terrorism Department spokesperson said.

The personnel of security forces and the CTD repelled the attack as a result one of the attackers was killed and the rest fled. The slain terrorists were wanted in several serious cases.

One official was also injured in the onslaught.

A body was found after the retaliatory action of the security forces and the search operation conducted after the attackers fled.
