The PTI lawmaker took to Twitter on Tuesday asking for an apology from the JI leader for making false allegations.

“My lawyers have sent a legal notice to Sirajul Haq for making false allegations that I have wealth kept overseas. Either he will publicly apologize or he will be taken to court. He must publicly also declare who provided him the false information,” he wrote on Twitter.

Soon after Asad realised that he attached the wrong set of documents – which was a medical report – to the tweet and quickly withdrew it.

Though Aaj News has screenshots of the documents, we are not publishing them as it violates the patient’s privacy.

Later, he tweeted again with the right documents.
