According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), four terrorists were also injured in the exchange of fire in the area of Tirah on April 25.

“Our troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the terrorists,” the military’s media wing said.

Sepoy Waqas Ali Shah, 26, a resident of District Charsadda, and Sepoy Basit Ali, 24, a resident of District Peshawar embraced martyrdom.

Sanitisation of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area. Security Forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve, ISPR added.
