The complaint has attached transcripts of the alleged audio leaks between Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and his lawyer that mentioned Justice Naqvi. It has also attached other documents that claim that the judge did not declare all his assets in his tax returns.

This is not the first complaint that has been filed against Justice Naqvi who has been under fire ever since the leaks first emerged. Government parties have accused the judge of favouring the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf which led to his recusal in the election delay case.

The audioi leaks had led to claims that Justice Naqvi owned properties that were not declared in his returns. The judge was also targeted in speeches by PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz.

However, the chief justice had later said that Justice Naqvi had been included in the bench to send a message to people criticising the judiciary.
