The SC had issued a judgement on Tuesday ordering the ECP to hold polls to the provincial assembly on May 14.

The court judgement had specified that the election schedule previously be issued be announced once again with delays added for the time lost after the commission announce postponement of polls.

The schedule issued by the commission says that candidates will be allowed to file appeals against any issues in their nomination papers by April 10 and a final list of candidates will be announced by April 18.

The SC verdict had also directed the government to provide all necessary support to the government including releasing funds by April 10.
