Mashwani revealed the news of his return on Twitter.

“Alhamdulilah, I have reached home safe and sound,” he tweeted.

“You prayers, efforts and support over the last eight days have left me indebted.”

Mashwani, who works as the focal person on social media to PTI Chairman Imran Khan has gone missing from outside his house in Lahore.

PTI had filed a petition in Lahore High Court, but the Federal Investigation Agency had denied that Mashwani was in their custody.

The party had called for protests infront of press clubs throughout the country to demand Mashwani’s release.
