In a statement issued on Wednesday, the PML-N leader said that his party had no hopes of getting justice from these two judges since their conduct had laid bare their bias against the party.

He said that the two judges have ruled in multiple cases against the PML-N.

He also said that a leaked audio clip containing the phone conversation between Pervaiz Elahi and Justice Mazahar was a piece of decisive evidence that the judge is not unbiased.

He added that it is a tradition that if one of the parties in a case thinks a judge is controversial, the judge recuses himself. He said that Justice Ijaz and Mazahar should not hear any more cases involving the PML-N.

A PML-N party meeting under Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday issued a statement about the same judges and asked them to recuse themselves from the cases in which the party is involved.
