The young couple got married on Friday at a local mosque in Karachi.

The legendary all-rounder in a tweet said he gave his daughter in Nikah to Shaheen and congratulated the newly-wed couple.

A number of renowned sports personalities, actors, and others attended the resection in Karachi.

Captain Babar Azam, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Naseem Shah, Shadab Khan and Mir Hamza as well as squash legend Jahangir Khan, were among the attendees.

Moreover, Asim Bajwa, the former director-general of the Inter-Services Public Relations, was also present at the occasion.

The duo was engaged two years ago.
