Ahsan Miwati, the victim, had a quarrel with another student at the Al Azeem Coaching Center a day earlier. The situation was defused after the intervention of the coacing centre’s administration.

However, the next day, the accused came to the coaching centre with several boys.

They also had a sub-machine gun, believed to be a Kalashinkov, with which they targeted the victim, police said.

The accused escaped after shooting Ahsan. The victim was first taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and later to the Civil Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
