      <title>Lahore jolted as tremors felt in parts of Punjab near Pak-India border</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;LAHORE: Tremors were felt in various cities of Punjab including Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Sharqpur Sharif and surrounding areas.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to the &lt;a rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" class="link--external" href="https://seismic.pmd.gov.pk/"&gt;National Seismic Monitoring Centre&lt;/a&gt; of the Pakistan Meteorologicla Department, a magnitude 4.2 quake on the Richter scale was recorded in Punjab near the Pakistan-India border.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The epicentre is believed to be 20 kms from Sheikhupura, with tremors felt in many cities including the provincial capital Lahore.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It led to some panic as residents in parts of Lahore rushed out of their homes in search of open ground.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There was no loss of life or property reported till the filing of this report.&lt;/p&gt;
