The screen siren, who primarily works in the Indian Punjabi film industry, expressed her feelings for the Pakistani actor during an interview with a Canadian channel.

The interview took place days after the global release of The Legend of Maula Jatt - a remake of the Pakistani blockbuster that features Fawad in the lead role of Maula Jatt.

The interviewer asks Bajwa about her romantic inclinations and whether there was any actor in the Indian film industry she would like to pursue.

“This is a mystery, I can’t tell, but only that the person I want to have an affair with is already married.” she said, “I don’t eye married men. It’s Fawad Khan, so if he wasn’t married, I’d make my move.”

Later on, Sonam Bajwa shared a clip of the interview on her Twitter handle and said, “Tuhanu rabb da vaasta. Fawad Ji bilkul hi na dekhan eh video.” [Translation: For the sake of the Almighty, Fawad sir, do not view the video.]

Sonam has acted in numerous movies such as Honsla Rakh, Kaatteri and Muklawa.
