The film features Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Tabu, Shriya Saran in important roles. The movie is directed by Abhishek Pathak and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar.

The story revolves around the investigation of the search for the body of a boy, who was killed in the prequel by Vijay Salgaonkar’s daughter. But, this time Khanna is probing into the murder incident.

The movie, which would be released on November 18, again increases fans’ craving for the incidents that happened on “October 2”–a date that the Vijay Salgaonkar family keeps recalling whenever the police ask about their activities on that day.

The trailer ends with the lead actor’s clip in which he says “My name is Vijay Salgaonkar and this is my confession.”

Drishyam was a commercial success and earned good reviews from fans and critics. It is ranked 8.2 on Netflix. The worldwide collection of the movie was 107.87 crore Indian rupees, Bollywood Hungama reported.
