The gripping teaser with masked heists and large safes full of cash are reminding us of the hit Spanish series Money Heist.

With a short glimpse of Fawad Khan at the end, the film’s release could not seem farther away.

The film is directed by Faisal Qureshi with a star-studded cast including Fawad Khan, former cricketer Wasim Akram, Mikaal Zulfiqar and Ayesha Omar among others.

The film is set to release on 21st April 2023.

According to Gulf News, albeit, Wasim has a small but pivotal role in the film, he plays nemesis to Fawad’s hero. A bank robbery is part of the plot and interestingly, the female actors won’t be playing the love interest of any of the male leads.

MBG is said to be a laugh riot, in the genre of satirical comedy. It is scripted by Faisal Qureshi, who is best known for the hilarious TV show, ‘Teen Bata Teen’, and the funny gags in the Ufone ad campaign.

Fawad Khan will be seen on the big screen in The Legend of Maula Jatt, which is set to hit cinemas in less than two weeks. He is also starring in Asim Abbasi’s currently untitled Zee5 web series alongside Sanam Saeed.

“Get ready to witness an action, comedy thriller, ‘Money Back Guarantee’ , a film by Faisal Qureshi.” Fawad Khan wrote as he shared the first teaser of the film on his social media a few weeks ago.

On Sept 6, the director shared the poster for MBG and wrote, “Unveiling the first look of the most awaited multi-starrer movie Money Back Guarantee — MBG. A film by Faisal Qureshi.”

Money Back Guarantee is produced by Zashko Films in collaboration with Game Over Productions.
