The video shared by Fallon didn’t contain any audio, and was punctuated with laughter from his on-set audience.

Among those to retweet the video was one Twitter user who pointed out that how the fumbles with the earphones/headsets could be the reason why the premier knows so many languages.

Only recently, the government of Pakistan’s Twitter account shared a video of the PM in conversation with rescued German tourists in Swat in their own language.

During his trip to Saudi Arabia as well, he spoke to his hosts in Arabic.

According to his focal person for digital media, Muhammad Abu Bakar Umar, the premier knows a total of ten languages.

He told a local publication that PM Shehbaz Sharif is fluent in German, Arabic and English along with Punjabi and Urdu. He can speak basic level Turkish, Chinese, Russian, Pashtu and Sindhi.

The linguistic ‘genius’ of the premier led to a host of comments on social media, including one referencing popular HBO show Game of Thrones.
