      <title>NEPRA cuts power tariff by Rs4.11 per unit for K-Electric consumers</title>

&lt;p&gt;According to the notification issued by Nepra, K-Electric had requested a reduction of Rs 3.48 per unit. The authority held a public hearing on fuel charges adjustment (FCA) on August 31, 2022, and has now approved it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The notification said that the reduction had been made under the fuel adjustment price and would be applied to the bills for the current month.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The reduction in electricity prices will be applied only for one month, said the notification.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The authority said that the reduction in prices would be applicable to all electricity consumers except lifeline consumers. Following the reduction, the consumers will get a relief of Rs7.40 billion.&lt;/p&gt;
