      <title>Iconic singer, Bulbul-e-Pakistan, Nayyara Noor passes away</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Iconic singer Nayyara Noor, also known as Bulbul-e-Pakistan, passed away on Saturday night in Karachi after a brief illness, her family and friends said. She was 71.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The nature of her illness was not clear. She was born in the Indian state of Assam in 1950 and migrated to Pakistan her with family in the late 1950s.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Funeral prayers will be offered at 4pm in Karachi’s Defence area on Sunday (today), &lt;em&gt;Aaj News&lt;/em&gt; reported.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif described her death as an “irreparable loss” to the world of music.&lt;/p&gt;
