The decision was taken in a meeting of the PML-Q central working committee which was chaired by Senator Kamil Ali Agha.

Following the meeting, Agha told the media that the party also decided to remove Tariq Bashir Cheema from the post of General Secretary as he was hatching conspiracy against the party.

The meeting decided to hold new party elections in ten days and a 5-member election commission will be established for the inter-party election, the PML-Q leader said and added that Advocate Jahangir Joja will be the Chief Election Commissioner.
