“I was thrilled to shoot with the American former professional boxer Mike Tyson,” Deverakonda said at the launch of the movie trailer. “But my mother was equally nervous and worried for me as I was shooting with a heavyweight like Tyson.”

Fans came to know when the trailer of the movie was launched on July 21. The Dhamra Productions-produced movie would be released in Hindu and Telugu. The film is directed by Puri Jagannadh.

Tyson has previously starred in many Hollywood movies, including The Hangover series and IP Man. The former American boxer had his first professional bout in 1985 and went on to hold the record as the youngest boxer ever to win a heavyweight title. Tyson kept his title for nine more fights until Buster Douglas beat him in 1990.

Liger trailer was unveiled on Thursday in Hyderabad and Mumbai. Indian actor Ranveer Singh had arrived for the launch of the trailer in Maharashtra’s capital.

Deverakonda plays the role of a professional MMA fighter in the movie. His character has a speech disorder.
