Saghir is now eligible to vote for the election of Punjab chief minister.</strong></p> <p>According to the results released by the returning officer, Raja Saghir got 68,906 votes while PTI’s Shabbir Awan bagged 68,857 votes.</p> <p>The PTI candidate had challenged the result and his defeat by the razor-thing margin of 49 votes.</p> <p>On Thursday, the election commission rejected the recount request of the PTI candidate. After having his plea rejected by the ECP, Awan said he would move the Lahore High Court against the decision.</p> <p>With Saghiar’s notification, Punjab CM hopeful Hamza Shehbaz has one more vote.
