The boys father had lodged a report with the Kuchlak police station three days ago that his teenage son had been abducted by unidentified individuals.

A case was registered with the police launching a search for the child.

The body of the child was found hanging from an electric pole in Kuchlak on Thursday. The police took the body into their custody which was then taken to the hospital for post-mortem.

After completion of medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family.

Police say the post-mortem reports will confirm whether the boy was a victim of sexual abuse.
