      <title>Heavy rains lash parts of Karachi, more expected</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Several areas of Karachi received bouts of intermittent and heavy rain on Tuesday, breaking the spell of warm and humid weather.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Intermittent showers with heavy bursts in between have been reproted from MA Jinnah Road, Saddar, Gurumandir, Orangi Town, North Nazimabad, Clifton and Defence.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast more rain during the week.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;City administrator tweeted at 3:49pm about the heavy rain saying that the situation so far was under control and the stormwater drains were draining and nullahs were draining water.&lt;/p&gt;
