Intermittent showers with heavy bursts in between have been reproted from MA Jinnah Road, Saddar, Gurumandir, Orangi Town, North Nazimabad, Clifton and Defence.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast more rain during the week.

City administrator tweeted at 3:49pm about the heavy rain saying that the situation so far was under control and the stormwater drains were draining and nullahs were draining water.

“Will request people to avoid unnecessary movement so traffic issue remains under control,” tweeted Wahab.
