“Fire exchange took pIace between security forces and terrorists in general area Ghulam Khan KaIle, North Waziristan District,” Inter-Services Public Relations said, adding that the troops effectively engaged the suspected terrorists.

ISPR said that Subedar Munir Hussain of Parachinar, Kurram, and Havildar Babu Khan of Dera Ismail Khan, having fought gallantly, embraced shahadat.

It said that weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the slain terrorists, who remained actively involved in several terrorist activities against security forces.

Area clearance was being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the vicinity, it added.

Earlier on Friday, the ISPR claimed that two suspected terrorists were killed during an exchange of fire with the security forces in Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan.
