&lt;p&gt;Even though the first pre-monsoon rain did not last for more than half an hour, drains overflowed in many areas and water accumulated on various roads including MA Jinnah Road.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Five people including three children lost their lives when the walls of houses fell in different areas, including Malir, Memon Goth, Mahmoodabad, Chanesar Goth, Millat Town and Gulistan-e-Jauhar.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In Malir Millat Town, two children were killed when a wall collapsed. In Chanesar Goth, an eight-year-old and a 45-year-old man were killed. Some areas also suffered from power outages.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;K-Electric said that efforts to restore power are in full swing and that power is being supplied through 1,720 feeders, while their staff is constantly reviewing the situation.&lt;/p&gt;
