The first information report (FIR), registered by the girl’s father at the Nishtar Colony police station, states that accused Shahid along with two unidentified men broke the door of his house in the Nishar colony area.

They locked the complainant, his wife and their four children in a room and abducted the teenage girl before fleeing the scene.

Rescue 15 could not reach the spot despite multiple calls to the emergency service, said the FIR.

In a related incident, another FIR was registered at the Misri Shah police station against nine men who robbed jewelry worth Rs1.4 million, mobile phones and a car worth Rs4.5 million from a house.
