Feroz Khan’s son on 42 years of Qurbani

Today marks the 42nd anniversary of the memorable film “Qurbani.” When the film was released in 1980, it quickly established itself as one of the best Indian films ever made.

Qurbani is mainly a story about sacrifice and friendship. Feroz Khanna and Vinod Khanna play friends, with Zeenat Aman portraying their common love interest. The tale centres around friendship, love, and a subplot involving underworld excesses that affect the three protagonists’ lives.

Vinod Khanna dies at the end of the film, permanently uniting Feroz Khan and Zeenat Aman. the hit song ‘Aaap jaisa koi,’ sung by Nazia Haasan, almost became a national anthem and established Nazia as a legend in the industry and is widely liked to this day.

While the iconic Feroz Khan and Vinod Khanna can not be here today to see how their work has lived on, Khan’s son Fardeen Khan chose today to share a few words from his late father on his Twitter:

Fardeen Khans Tweet

Fardeen Khan is pondering returning to the film profession after a long hiatus. His next project is a sequel to No Entry, which was critically appreciated. Anil Kapoor and Salman Khan will reprise their roles from the prequel. Anees Bazmee’s film is expected to start shooting at the end of this year or the beginning of 2023. There are also plans to remake Qurbani with Fardeen as the lead, following in his late father’s footsteps.
