The assailants flee the spot after setting fire to the camp and the vehicles parked nearby.

The security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.

Last year, three coal miners were shot dead in the district when young people were protesting at the Quetta-Harnai National Highway for basic necessities, including electricity and water.

The demonstration was being held under “Harnai Bachao Tehreek”.
