      <title>Two visually impaired Pakistani archers aim for gold in int’l championships</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Two Pakistani visually impaired archers will participate in two upcoming back-to-back international championships that will be held in the Czech Republic.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Para-Archery World Ranking Event and European Cup will be held in Nove Mesto from July 1 to 10.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Tanveer Ahmed and Waleed Aziz will be part of the Blind Archery Team, announced Para Archery Committee head Shah Manzar Fareed. The committee works under the Pakistan Archery Federation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Currently, Ahmed is number two in the world’s blind archery rankings after taking a silver medal home in the championship played in February 2022.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Coach Muhammad Ijaz and team manager Syed Junaid Raza Shah will be accompanying the archers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The team will leave for the event on July 1 from Islamabad International Airport.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Haider Ali was the first Pakistani to win a &lt;img src="https://www.aaj.tv/news/30266096" alt="gold medal" /&gt; in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games in the discus throw event.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He beat his own personal record with a throw measuring 55.26m. He beat second place thrower Mykola Zhabnyak from Ukraine by three meters.&lt;/p&gt;
