&lt;p&gt;A few days ago, Ali Raza fell from a mountain during a training exercise in Gilgit and seriously injured his backbone.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Ali Raza Sadpara was 66 years old and was one of the leading climbers in Pakistan. He was planning to summit K2.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;He was hospitalised at Regional Hospital Skardu for the past one week. He was 66 years old. He had been climbing since 1986 and had summited a record number of times. He had climbed four peaks above 8000 meters 16 times.&lt;/p&gt;
