“Protests outside my house, targeting my children, antisemitic abuse on social media,” Jemima tweeted that it’s back to “Purana Pakistan.”

Vice President PML-N Abid Sher Ali promoted the protest on his Twitter profile.

Reposting Jemima’s tweet, senior journalist Hamid Mir demanded PTI workers and supporters to stop protesting outside PML-N’s supermo Nawaz Sharif’s residence in London, so that PML-N workers would do the same at Jemima’s house.

“With respect, The difference is that I have got nothing to do with Pakistani politics and neither have my children. They are low- key private individuals who are not even on social media,” replied Jemima.

Many journalists, academics and PTI supporters are calling out PML-N for the “unwarranted” protest.

Anchorperson Mansoor Ali Khan has one word for the situation – pathetic.

“Hope Nawaz Sharif Sb will understand using "anti semitic abuse" as political weapon be it against Imran Khan Jemima Goldsmith or sons in London can back fire,” tweeted Kamran Khan.

Jemima is a British screenwriter and filmmaker. She’s one of the producers for American Crime, 'The Impeachment' which follows the true life story of Monica Lewinsky's affair with then US President Bill Clinton. She has also written and is currently producing ‘What's Love Got to Do With It,’ a film about a British woman who travels to Pakistan for a wedding.

She and Imran Khan amicably parted ways in 2004 after nine years of marriage. They have two sons together named Suleiman Isa Khan and Qasim Khan.
