In a tweet, the PTI urged the Federal Investigation Agency to look into the incident.

The development comes after the incumbent premier, Imran Khan, loses vote of no confidence in parliament in a post-midnight session, which was marred by multiple delays, speeches and filibusters as well as breaks ostensibly to delay the vote.

PTI leaders condemn incident

Reacting to the development, PTI leaders started condemning such an incident.

Former Planning Minister Asad Umar said that the raid on Arslan Khalid’s house was "highly condemnable".

Moreover, former education minister Shafqat Mahmood said that he was “distressed to learn that Dr Arsalan Khalid’s home was raided and his family harassed.”

Veteran PTI leader Shireen Mazari said: “Intolerance for criticism leads to irrational rage.”
