Photos and videos of the couple’s wedding festivities have flooded the internet.

The couple tied the knot in a daytime nikah ceremony on March 25 in Islamabad's Faisal Mosque. They celebrated their dholki and mayun a few days before the nikah.

Nafees looked gorgeous in a yellow pishwas from Maha Wajahat with colorful bangles on her mayun.

Nafees opted for a sleek bun, with minimal make up, with a heavy black liner and red lip to boot for her nikah ceremony. Her clothes were a traditional all white sharara with Mughal inspired motifs embroidered in gold, while the shirt was made of organza and the entire dress was finished with piping in a deep red contrast. She also wore Maha Wajahat for her nikah.

The combined wedding reception and mehendi, (now also being called shendis) took place on March 27 in Swat. Nafees stayed true to her designer, and opted for another Maha Wajahat creation, this time in red and gold. Although her outfit was a typical lehenga-choli, the design of the latter helped elevate her look. She opted for orange/rust tones for her eyes and lips, finishing off the look with blue contact lenses, which we thought she could have done without.

Reportedly, the management of Serena Hotel presented a plaque to the newly wedded couple for hosting a destination wedding.

Amaan opted to wear a navy blue sherwani in velvet with a gold turban

The highlight of the night was a dance performed by Nafees’s Diyar-e-Dil co star and friend Osman Khalid Butt and Parizad’s Ahmed Ali Akbar on Ali Sethi and Shae Gill’s Coke Studio masterpiece, Pasoori. The song was choreographed by another friend of the bride's Faizaan Ahab

Butt wore a golden sherwani to the event while Akbar opted for a dark blue one.

Akbar posted pictures of the Nafees and her fellow actor friends gathered to celebrate the actor’s big day.

Till now, there is no indication of a valima taking place, and there may or may not be one after the couple returns from Swat.
