Social media users are arguing that this might have been the best of all Coke Studio seasons out there.

Pasoori

The best out of the 13 Coke Studio song is Pasoori featuring Ali Sethi and Shae Gill. The song ranked number three on Spotify’s global chart this month. Sethi shared a screenshot on Instagram and said, “One year ago, when Xulfi heard this tune I’d sent him on a voicenote, he told me with tremendous calm that it will enter the global charts.”

Tu Jhoom

This masterpiece opened Coke Studio’s season 14 with a bang in January, featuring music legends Abida Pareveen and Naseebo Lal, who left Pakistanis in a blissful daze. The galvanic voices of Parveen and Lal were the perfect mix for a smash hit.

Mehram

Music enthusiasts couldn’t get enough of the emotional song ‘Mehram’ by musician Asfar Hussain and Grammy nominated singer Arooj Aftab. Listeners thought the song was “hauntingly beautiful.”

Go

Singing sensation Atif Aslam and musical prodigy Abdullah Siddiqui paired up to produce an Urdu and English hybrid song ‘Go.’ Listeners raved about the fusion of classical and modern instruments in the track.

Muaziz Saarif

Meesha Shafi and Faris Shaafi’s garnered immense praise for their track “Muaziz Saarif.” The song was an instant hit and people who were impatiently waiting for Mesha’s song for the 14th season were truly impressed.

Thagyan

Quratulain Balouch made a much-awaited Coke Studio comeback with upbeat qawaali “Thagyan” featuring qawwali group Zain Zohaib. The song has shades of traditional qawwali, with soul and hip hop carefully weaved in between, and social media users were hooked.

Phir Milenge

Phir Milenge was the perfect end to the season. Featuring grand maestro Faisal Kapadia and hip-hop duo Young Stunners, the track serves intense emotions and groovy vibes, all at the same time.

Neray Neray Vas

Coke Studio dropped a unique fusion of dhol and rap featuring the Butt Brothers and SOCH the band. The different music style grabbed the attention of many music fans.

Ye Dunya

Ye Dunya brought together Karakoram, Talha Anjum and Faris Shafi in a fierce, power packed composition that left people “obsessed.”

Kana Yaari

The Balochi song which is a mix of hip hop and cultural tunes, speaks of betrayal and heartbreak in friendship, which might be why so many listeners could relate to it. Featuring singers Eva B, Kaifi Khalil and Abdul Wahab Bugti, the track was an impressive fusion of three unique styles.

People loved the song, but some thought that it might have been better if “subtitles were posted with it.”

Peechay Hutt

Peechay Hutt had Twitter divided on whether the song is grim or groovy? Some loved the track, while others hated it.

Sajan Das Na

Atif Aslam and Momina Mustehsan’s slow jam romance ballad failed to impress listeners.

Beparwah

The only solo song of the season by Momina Mustehsan received a lukewarm response from the listeners.
