The original "bad guy" Razor Ramon dies at 63

Former WWE wrestler Scott Hall, better known as Razor Ramon, has died at age 63 after his family took the decision to take him off of life support on Tuesday.

Hall, a two-time Hall of Famer, was admitted to the hospital after suffering three heart attacks following complications from a hip replacement surgery.

His friend and former WWE and WCW champion Kevin Nash had announced a day earlier that his family will take him off of life support while adding that he will need to get used to “living without his friend.”

Hall brought the Razor Ramon gimmick in the 1990s and according to many Twitter users, made being the bad boy, cool. He was an American pretending to be a Latino but love for him (also lack of social awareness) was so intense that no one batted an eye.

Hall made it to the hall of fame twice, once on his own and once with Kevin Nash for being a part of the New World Order. He made the switch from WWE (WWF then) to WCW in 1996, where his duo with Nash was so popular that it catapulted WCW to the number one promotion in America for at least three years. So much so that WCW’s former senior vice president said he was forever grateful to the wrestling legend.

Tributes continue to pour in, from both fans and peers alike, with Triple H tweeting “I’m gutted…Lost a brother”

While WWE also tweeted about his demise and sent condolences to his friends and family

Former wrestler Mick Foley called him a "towering figure" who was a legend both inside and outside the ring.
